A nonprofit organization is only as strong as the people who govern it. For the SCORE Collaborative, building a board of directors that is deeply rooted in Southern Oklahoma and representative of the communities we serve is not simply a matter of good governance, it is a strategic imperative.
The teacher shortage we are working to solve touches every sector that has a stake in regional vitality: economic development, workforce pipeline, community health, and long-term competitiveness.
A strong board brings more than oversight. It brings credibility with funders, connections to the districts and employers we serve, and a diversity of perspective that keeps SCORE anchored to the real conditions families and schools face across our region.
"The SCORE Collaborative board of directors represents the best of Southern Oklahoma. They are people who understand what is at stake for our students, our schools, and our region, and they are people who have chosen to do something about it. I am deeply grateful for their commitment and honored to serve alongside them."
— Dr. Eric L. Ward, Founder and Executive Director, SCORE Collaborative
